2D animation with procreate and after effects.

Challenge
The animation was inspired by an illustration I did two years ago. I wondered how it would look like coming to life and also how I can deliver a deeper message in a playful way. 

Solution
I used procreate to draw the character and the cactuses. Then I connected it all in after effects and worked out the timing, camera ride, sound and effects.
